10 Sep 08 Samsung A837 Phone Fcc Approved
Samsung’s new A837 Phone has just been approved by the Federal Communications Commision. The Samsung’s SGH-a837 is a rugged clamshell with AT&T branding on it.
According to specs from the FCC, it should come with support for dual-band GSM/EDGE 850/1900 radios and WCDMA/3G. It is equipped with 1.3 megapixel camera, the clamshel cell phone has microSD card slot and large speakerphone. The a837 also has Bluetooth 2.0 with support for A2DP stereo Bluetooth and push-to-talk capability.
As of the moment, details for pricing and availability of the a837 has not been released.

I have this phone and it is great! Rugged, durable, and lots of bells and whistles …
Speaker is nice & loud, display can be adjusted to HUGE letters, and the sound is clear.
It offers GPS capabilities, internet connections, a nice little camera, eMail, texting, fancy-schmancy ringtones, video with sound, all sorts of extra goodies.
I wanted a durable phone that made and received calls in a clear manner. This is what I got!
