Rumored: Verizon Considering Contract-Free Service for Customers

A lot of rumors are circulating the wed these days. One of the newest says Verizon is considering providing contract-free service for customers. Yes, that means they won’t tie you down to a 2 year contract for every crappy phone you buy.

As always terms and conditions will apply. You will have to pay the full price for whatever handset you choose. Furthermore the activation fee has to be also paid in full. After that all that you have to do is pay your regular fees on time. Bring your own phone if you want and quit whenever you want. Upgrade and downgrade your plan too. No cancellation fees will apply when you leave for good.

How does that sound to you? Is Verizon trying to steal customers away from others?
