02 Jul 08 Rumored: Sprint to Increase Data Costs

Ok now this is not cool Sprint! People are saying you’re going to upgrade data plans. And that’s not a good upgrade. They aren’t going to improve actual plans or data speeds. They are going to upgrade the costs. That means more money out of the subscribers pockets whether they are new or old. We’ve seen the signs when Sprint started to limit the data plans. And it’s not cool!

Their current Vision and Power Vision plans which are priced starting at $15/month will be canceled while the Everything plans starting at $69/month will be replacing them. Sprint will tell you how these plans include voice minutes, Sprint TV, GPS, the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, but I don’t need all that. I want to be able to choose a simpler data plan for my email reading and web browsing. More than that, Sero subscribers will be affected too. Will their $30/month be replaced with $69/month plans?

I’ll have to cancel my Sprint data plan. Oh but wait, I am not a Sprint customer. Go ahead then Sprint, make it official. Increase the data plans costs as much as you want.
