Rumored: Orange Brings the iPhone to the UKBy Chris - 07/26/2008 4:08:47 PM |

Despite the fact we are talking more about 3G iPhone shortages around the world, it would appear that Orange has just struck a deal with Apple and they will bring the iPhone to the UK. For now only O2, another UK carrier, has the new iPhone for the Brits but Orange is closing in soon. They are said to have the iPhone on display this October.
Orange has iPhone deals in a bunch of countries already: France, Austria, Belgium, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Jordan, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland and Africa. Some of these countries have already received the first batch of Apple phones while everyone else is still waiting.
We’re eager to see what plans Orange has in mind for the UK, if this rumor will be confirmed. And are we to see Vodafone UK getting in on this action?
