Rumored: Nokia to Get Zune Content?

Here’s a rather displeasing rumor following Steve’s Ballmer’s wet dream of developing a Zune Phone. Some sources claim that Nokia will carry Zune content. Why in the world would anything like that happen? Nokia is the leader of cell phone manufacturers across the world. They have a well established market share that’s growing each quarter. They have their own Symbian OS which not only will improve in the future but it’s also rumored to merge with Google’s Android.

Now Microsoft has a crappy Zune player and that’s the reality. A Zune Phone might be a good idea for them if they are willing to put some elbow grease in it. But to offer Zune content to Nokia seems highly unlikely. After all Nokia doesn’t have Windows Mobile support do they? That’s why they call it a rumor… We may never know what’s going to happen.
