Thinking about getting a new laptop are you? Well today seems to be a laptop announcements day. We’ve seen the new Vaio lineup and we’ve heard about the future Dell-E prices. We also know Lenovo has some new laptops to look at. In the mean time we found another rumor around. It appears that Intel will start offering quad-core processors in August. So hold your laptop buying horses. You don’t want to miss an Intel quad-core do you?
Pioneer Computers, Australian PC makers are taking orders as we speak on systems equipped with a 2.53GHz Core 2 Extreme chip, the QX9300. And Sujan Kamran, Intel’s regional marketing manager in Singapore said earlier that “we’re bringing quad-core to mobile in August”. If by we he meant Intel, well, this rumor is almost confirmed.
