I like how HTC are going about their business. Not only have they just recently come up with some intelligent phones like the Touch Diamond or the Raphael but they are planning to release better phones and other devices as we speak. We already have confirmed the fact they are preparing for a Windows Mobile 7 device for early 2009 and for an Android phone later 2008. Now we hear rumors that HTC is developing an MID which is to be released somewhere in the second part of 2008.

The new MID device will use the Atom from Intel and a Snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm. Peter Chou, president and current CEO says that HTC’s strategy is to focus on “Internet experience through mobile devices”. But with the new mini laptops being as small as the Eee why shouldn’t HTC enter the market. After all, if they can make smartphones they sure will be able to develop small-like-phones laptops or MIDs.
