In case you were secretly planning to get yourself the new Amazon Kindle this Christmas then you should reconsider your choices. It looks like the new Kindle will only be available in the first quarter of next year. We’ve come a long way from Amazon‘s denial of the second Kindle. That happened this summer and for a while we actually considered believing it. Then this autumn leaked pictures of Kindle 2 emerged all over the Internet and since then we’ve been waiting for Amazon to release it.

So will we see the Kindle 2 first thing in 2009? Well we don’t have any facts yet, just this rumor…
