Word on the street is that the 3G iPhone will be sold starting July 11th 8 AM. Apparently this is another leaked piece of news from AT&T so I wouldn’t be surprised if tomorrow they will announce anything different.
More tech and gadget blogs have started announcing this, although it’s not confirmed yet. Rumor says the 3G iPhone will be launched at 8 AM Central Time which it would be weird in the first place. I’m inclined to think that it will indeed go live at 8 AM but 8 AM local times. Which means the Australians and the Japanese will be the first to receive the much debated, over rated 3G iPhone.
When will rumors about the 3G iPhone cease to emerge? Why is so difficult for Apple or AT&T to announce official launching details? Oh and in case you were wondering, we’re probably going to start talking about the iPhone third generation after July 11th.
