I know that you are probably sick of hearing about the iPad, and there is now some new rumor floating around saying that the iPad mini is coming.

This is just something heard from “upstream component sources”, and it is a touchscreen device between 5 and 7 inches that is “aimed at people who want to consume content without creating it”. I suppose that implies that the iPad is good at creating content, which has really yet to be proven since, for all intents and purposes, the iPad is still less than a week old.

So maybe it’s a little too early for rumors of the iPad mini or iPad nano. Perhaps Apple does see a need for a product that is in between an iPod Touch and an iPad. Hopefully it will cost about $400, but we will see in 2011.
