Rumor: Apple to Release New iMacsBy Paul Briggs - 10/20/2008 4:28:40 AM |
After releasing the new line of MacBooks, Apple is also upgrading their iMacs. On the heels of the company’s new MacBook lineup, there’s now buzz about new iMacs that could be out in time for the holidays. Apple is expected to refresh its 20- and 24-inch iMacs in the coming weeks, entering the shopping season with one of its strongest product portfolios ever.
As for the specs of the new machines, there hasn’t been any report on that yet. But Apple fans have been speculating on a move to Intel’s Centrino 2 platform and possibly new NVidia chips like the new MacBooks have.
