Rollphone concept phone runs on AA battery

rollphone_01I’ve seen a lot of concept phones in my time like the Sleek, and this Rollphone is interesting for two reasons.

First of all, the Rollphone runs on AA batteries, which is a relief from the usual charger. I don’t know how many times my phone has run out of juice and I inconveniently don’t have my charger. I’ve seen chargers like the PowerPal that use an AA batteries, and perhaps it could work with a phone.

Second, it has this transparent screen that pulls out like a small scroll. It seems impossible, but I’m sure they said that about the iPhone at one time.
