Now a days, with the economy only just recovering, people everywhere are pinching pennies and looking to make their dollar go further and further. While some carriers with popular devices such as AT& T and Verizon are basically charing an arm and a leg for their services, other wireless carriers are emerging to take a whack at the budget concious market.

Today, Rogers Wireless has announced that they will be launching their own budget concious wireless carrier dubbed Chatr in Canada.

While the carrier won’t feature any highly sought after phones it will feature the Nokia 1661 for 60 bucks, the LG GB125R for $75, the Nokia 2680 for $95 and the Samsung Gravity for $130.

If you’re living in Canada, expect a bunch of Chatr kiosks to appear at participating Best Buys and Costcos across the country.
