Let me tell you this much, whether I am or not an Apple fan, I still liked better the worldwide kind of handset launch we witnessed in July. Apple is going to do it again on August 22nd for 20 more countries and once more later this year for every country left without an iPhone.
Well RIM didn’t learn anything from what Apple successfully pulled off. Their Bold release isn’t as bold as you would think. We’ve seen it launch first in Chile and then in Europe. Surprisingly it hasn’t launched yet anywhere in the USA or Canada.
So Rogers, are you going to launch the BlackBerry Bold on August 19th? I certainly hope so. That’s what people say you are doing so you simply have to do it! Hear me Rogers? What about you AT&T?

Simple, the reason it’s not a worldwide launch is because mobile sites like yourselves and the media are constantly hyping the most hyped up handset ever and blinded by fanboyism, bias and failiure to write one single column without devoting it to the IPhone, wether it be a report on the Bold/Xperia or even an 8 MP cameraphone, it won’t get the hype because idiots like yourselves will always give into hype without exploring the other handsets available plus you always make some sort of annoying reference, eg: worldwide release of our favourite handset, can’t be compared. Seriously, the Jobs device has been out since July 11th and come November, you will STILL be devoting your columns to a handset that has been on the market almost half a year. Total fucking pisstake.
