Instead of making everything in their power to transform the Storm into the smartphone it should be without all those OS bugs, RIM’s Co-CEO Jim Balsillie went ahead and told everyone that smartphones are buggy which indirectly means that everyone should deal with that. Not to mention the fact that RIM has received a major, presidential image boost which should help them sell Berries to people who didn’t know what a RIM was yet. We’re assuming that people who don’t know what that RIM name means in the cell phone business do exist, right?
It looks like smartphone makers are under pressure to deliver those smartphones and hence, the bugs in the OS. And we, as customers, should simply accept them and wait for the first firmware available to correct all the problems? We’d rather wait longer for a smartphone to be released right people? After all we are paying for a device which we think will offer us everything the carrier and the manufacturer said in those fancy press releases or commercials.
Oh, and guys, we don’t mean just the Storm here! The competition isn’t doing that great either and we still have firmware issues and other problems with various new smartphones out there.
