RIM sold a lot of smartphones in 10 years. No less than 50 million BlackBerries have been sold so far. How’s that for growth? A Berry is now available in 150 countries and about 425 carriers are ready to offer it. 21 million of those customers are subscribers that transfer three petabytes of traffic every month. And let’s not forget that at least one already-famous president loves RIM’s BlackBerry. Will Apple or Google sell as many handsets in the following 10 years as RIM did in the same period of time?
