Research In Motion (maker of BlackBerry) and computer giant Hewlett-Packard have agreed to a strategic alliance to design and sell business software for the popular BlackBerry smartphones. These two companies will produce new software that will increase productivity among business users that need to work while on the go.

One of the new services includes HP’s CloudPrint for BlackBerry smartphones, which will allow users to print emails, photos, documents, and Web pages directly from their devices. HP also plans to launch HP Operations Manager for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server which is software to better manage and control IT. HP said the deal with RIM doesn’t mean that it is planning to abandon its own line of Windows Mobile-based devices
