It seems that this week has come out with a lot of surprises for some companies in the mobile industry. After Nokia announced the acquisition of Novarra, Research in Motion (RIM) has now secured the Viigo. Viigo will continue its Blackberry app development for the Blackberry platform.
Despite the acquisition, the Viigo app for the Blackberry will still be available for free via the Blackberry App World. No financial details of the deal were disclosed.
