HandHeld Entertainment unveiled its first MP3 player for the holiday season. The new ZVUE ZP3 player is an MP3 player with an added bonus: 30 songs - top hits of 2006 - come pre-installed on this device.

What's more, on the Zvue store, you can also purchase music videos of those 30 songs apart from a whole lot of others. The videos can be played back on a PC or the Zvue portable video player (but not the ZP3 which is MP3-only).

About the size of a thumbdrive, the Zvue ZP3 comes with 512MB of flash memory - about enough for 125 songs in MP3 format or roughly 250 songs in WMA format. The player also supports WAV. It offers a USB interface.

They've also bundled a voice recorder on the ZP3. On a single AA battery, the device lasts about 8 hours. Pricing information has not been made available yet, but check back with us on that soon.
