Zeiss-Ikon-SW.jpgWe all can vouch for Carl Zeiss lenses, now its exciting to know that the company has jumped into the Camera market once again, by launching the Zeiss Ikon SW. The new precision camera is a godsend to those who want to indulge in superwide photography and is a welcome relief from digital photography. However the company does confirm, that a digital version maybe on the horizon.

The Zeiss Ikon SW SuperWide camera is compatible with M mount lenses, especially with the superwide- angle lenses Distagon T* 2,8/15mm ZM and the Biogon T* types from the ZEISS ZM range. There is an accessory shoe which lets you attach the Viewfinder and a hot shoe for attaching the flash. Shutter speeds range from 1/2000 sec. – 8 sec. in automatic mode (AE-lock is available) and 1/2000 - 1 sec. + B in manual mode. The camera should see an October release and should retail for 799,00 € (without VAT).
