The keyboard replaces the current model, PSR293 and contains a number of breakthrough features for when it's time to play. The E403 feature list include Sound Control Knobs, that give the user real time control over effects, filters, EQ and tempo. New colors from different musical styles can be added with the 50 arpeggiator patterns. Recording original music has never been faster and easier, thanks to 6-track/5-song capacity on-board sequencer. The music database will set up the keyboard by song title and an integrated Easy Song Arranger allows you to change the style of a song with the press of a button.

The keyboard features USB computer connectivity and you can also enjoy the music via a built-in two-way speakers or through the privacy of headphones. It also includes Yamaha's very own Performance Assistant technology, that lets just about anyone to use the keyboard, even someone with only very basic musical skills.
