Xoro has a new product designed for those who want to take their DVD and TV watching on the road. The handheld HSD 7500 a 7 inch LCD with 480 x 234 resolution, and is designed to play DVDs as well as Freeview TV. It also has a startling resemblance to a Sony PSP.

The DVDs fit in a side slot, and the detachable Freeview tuner has auto-scan, Teletext, and an Electronic Programming Guide (EPG). The device comes with a harness, so it can be strapped to areas such as the back of a car seat headrest (great for parents traveling on the road with little kids). The HSD 7500 is powered by a lithium battery (included), car adaptor, or AC.

So far, there is no word on the product’s release or price.
