xroad-corea-z3300 3.jpgKorean company, CarPoint Co, one of the leaders in Navigation today unveiled its new GPS device in XROAD Corea Z3300, which is an all-inclusive aggregate of information that should be needed in driving a car in respect of GPS, navigation, traffic, safety and even entertainment like mp3, movie, game and the Internet.

Featuring a powerful VGA resolution RGB 480x234, the 12-channel GPS receiver runs on Windows CE.Net 4.2. It incorporates a reasonable enough 300MHz CPU, 32MB NAND Flash/64MB SD RAM with 128MB RAM being made optional. It utilizes 256M map data mainly coming from Navteq, Navigon. The Z3300 definitely boasts better graphics since it uses the Mappy software for generating its animations and map panning. It also has a brighter screen at 400Cd’s and comes integrated 2W speakers. The rest of the specs seems similar to Tibo Z3000 like the SiRF Star III chip-set and a fold-out antenna for a better reception. No word on the pricing and availability as yet.
