pgttlimg.jpgDVD camcorders are the next best thing, how else would you explain the sudden phenomena of the market being flooded with them. The latest DVD Camcorder comes from the stables Hitachi, who recently unveiled the Wooo DZ-HS303, which apart from a funny name (can you imagine telling your friends, I have a Wooo?), does has some decent specs on it.

The Wooo DZ-HS303 shoulders the responsibility of being the world’s first camcorder to have both a DVD and hard drive, so which means you can also capture six hours of footage to an 8GB MicroDrive or one hour of video on a disc. Some other features found on the camcorder include; a 10x optical zoom, standard 2.7-inch LCD, and three mega pixel CCD. The Wooo can be yours for 130,000 yen ($1,132) and will see an August 30 release.
