66.jpgIt pays to be a student in the US! Westinghouse Digital Electronics as an incentive to all the students in the States, they have come up with a cool back-to-school package which includes; a laptop computer and a 19" HD-Ready LCD TV. This bundle is available exclusively at Wal-Mart and is targeted at students living on campus.

The Westinghouse laptop sports a XGA TFT-Active Matrix widescreen display with a 1280 x 800 resolution and is powered by the Intel(R) Celeron(R) 410 M Processor (1.46 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 1MB Cache). It will use Genuine Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP Home Edition as its O.S. and would also include; ATI(R) Xpress 200M Graphics card, 60GB Hard Drive, 512MB DDR2 SDRAM, 8x CD/DVD+/-RW w/Double Layer Support, 802.11b/g Wireless LAN, 4-in-1 Memory Card Reader and Built-in Microphone.

There is a LCD in the bundle because it gives students an option to multitask as it can also be used as a computer screen, meaning students can utilize two screens. The Westinghouse LTV-19w6 is a 19" HD-Ready 1440 x 900 Widescreen TV and is equipped with two HD Inputs and Integrated speakers. The Back To School Bundle is now available and retails for $989. It’s quite a steal as it includes; 14.1" widescreen laptop computer, Westinghouse Digital's brilliant LTV-19w6 19" HD-Ready LCD TV, a USB keyboard and USB optical mouse.
