A commercial service targeting Samsung's DMB phone, the Samsung P900, may soon be in the offing across Europe thanks to World Cup Football fever.

While trial services for delivering football content on mobile TV began this month in Berlin, Munich and Cologne, if things go well, you may see the service live as early as May. According to a Samsung official, Samsung is poised for a lead in the world-wide mobile TV market thanks to up-to-date technology including DMB, DVB-H and media flowback methods.

The Samsung P900 recently made a impressive apppearance at 3GSM.
