walkie_talkie_watches.jpg
A watch with an antenna? Cool isn't it? It's like one of the James Bond toys out there. It's a watch with a built-in walkie talkie features. Not only do the watches have a full clock function, but they're also professional PMR watches. PMR stands for Private Mobile Radio-communicators. The high quality watches were sported by the Norwegian Winter Olympic team during last year's Winter Olympics. The watch has voice activated operation and it has a range of 3km. The watch also has eight channels and 38 sub codes per channel giving you over 300 channel combinations for private conversation. You require no license or fee like the big bulky walkie talkie.

You can either use a headset with PTT button attached or voice activation for hands-free. To avoid corruption with other walkie talkie channel, you can use the auto scan for free channel, besides it is compatible with all walkie talkies at 446MHz. It also features five melody call tones, backlit LCD display, and the watches are splash proof. That doesn't mean you can try it out. Upon a full 6 hours of charging, it can provide 40 hours of standby power and 2 hours of continuous talk time. It is suitable for ages 8 years and above....is that a toy for kids? The size for each watch is only 10 x 7 x 5 cm and is available now through iwantoneofthose for only USD96.58.
