Vonage launches UTStarcom F1000 WiFi Phone
The UTStarcom F100 WiFI handset has been around for a while, but finally broadband phone company Vonage has launched the phone to complement its list of Voice over IP (VoIP) services.
This means users will be able to use the phone at any hotspot around the world to make phone calls.
This versionof the F1000 is customized to include Vonage's standard call features including three-way calling, call waiting, repeat dial on busy, call forwarding to user assigned number, call hold/resume, voicemail, call rejecting/redial/mute and Caller ID based on phone book entries.
The phone costs $79.99 after an instant $50 dollar rebate and is now available at Vonage.com.

The F1000 Wi-Fi handset is well designed for both state-of-the-art features and high value. It will be configured with Vonage's standard call features: three-way calling, call waiting, repeat dial on busy, call forwarding to user assigned number, call hold/resume, voicemail, call rejecting/redial/mute and Caller ID based on phone book entries. It will also include phone book favorites with distinctive ring options including: silent, vibrate and selectable ring tones. Users will be able to configure and save Wi-Fi profiles for ease of connectivity.
