Visiongain Sees Apple iPhoneVisiongain, a media company based in London, firmly believes that an Apple iPhone will hit the markets this spring with the launch of Helio. Helio and Apple share a history with the Moto ROKR iTunes phone, but I'm sure it's something they would like to forget.

Helio is a US MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) forged between EarthLink and SK Telecom, and Visiongain expects the iPhone will actually be manufactured in South Korea by a handset maker there. Now we can't resist but think who it could be: Pantech? Samsung? LG? Samsung already has several music phones, including one that they released with an 8GB hard drive. Since they already have expertise in building such phones, could they be the chosen one?

The target audience is apparently identical to iPod's existing market. Get more details in Visiongain's upcoming report, Apple in Wireless. Access Visiongain's website for the scoop.
