Samsung SCH-A795Verizon Wireless has announced that it will now be carrying the Samsung SCH-A795 world phone. The SCH-A795 is capable of connecting to both CDMA and GSM networks truly making it compatible to nearly all the phone networks around the globe..

The Samsung SCH-A795 supports CDMA 800/1900 MHz and GSM 900/1800 MHz. It will also support the CDMA2000 1xRTT and GPRS data networks allowing the phone to make data connections as well as voice connections.

Specification wise, the SCH-A795 is a clamshell phone with dual displays. The external display has a resolution of 128 x 96 supporting 65K colors while the internal display has a resolution of 176 x 220 and a color palette of 262K.

The phone is available now from Verizon and will go for $350 for a two year contract. Via InfoSyncWorld.
