Verizon and GN Netcom have tied up to jointly produce a series of Verizon-branded headsets for use with broadband services and applications like online gaming and IP telephony. These headsets will complement other Verizon broadband products and services and would enhance their functionality. Thanks to this joint venture users will be able access high- speed DSL and the company fiber-optic network for high quality voice, data and video services at mind-boggling speeds. GN NERCO will handle the manufacturing part of the headsets and will also ship and provide customer support for the broadband headsets.
