LG Migo Cell Phone for KidsAfter targeting teens and tasting success, carriers are all out to woo kids to give the cell phone a try. Among them are now Verizon, introducing the LG Migo (which is actually an LG VX1000). The phone looks quite compact and weighs just 2.46 oz.

The Migo also features four parent programmable numbers, a dedicated emergency key (also programmable) and the most important thing: a simplified keyboard and interface. It's not actually easy to make things kid-friendly, and the Migo tries to get past this hurdle.

You also don't have to worry about huge SMS/GPRS bills, as the Migo does not support either. The phone costs US $149.99 with a 1-year service agreement with Verizon, or $99.99 for a 2-year contract. More info is available from Verizon's website.
