UTStarcom new mobile phone has just pass the test and being approved by FCC yesterday, the GPRS1228. The new ultra slim tri-band GSM (850/1800/1900 MHz) support mobile phone looks to be about the thickness of Motorola SLVR. It features a MP3 player, KTV player, VGA camera, and expandable microSD memory card slot. I’m sure this phone is from China because of its KTV player features. It's a program where you can listen to the music and sing along with it. The lyrics will be shown on the bottom of the screen. No words on the pricing and availability yet.
