The new UBiQUiO 501 Smartphone promises functionality and style thanks to its ergonomically designed body and its black/silver color combination. The smartphone measures just 1.4cm thick and is just a little bulky when compared to the Moto Q. Using Windows Mobile 5.0 as its operating system and running on a 200MHz Texas Instruments OMAP 750 processor, the 501 does indeed looks promising.

The handset is outfitted with a 2.5in, 320 x 240, 65,536-colour display and there is also the all important camera with a resolution of 2.0 megapixels. Connectivty options include; GSM/GPRS, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 1.2. The 501 also sports a QWERTY keyboard and is powered by a 1,250mAh battery. It should retail for $567, but when is anyone’s guess!
