TuneFlex for iPod NanoWhat's that weird thing attached to the beautiful nano?...the TuneFlex!

Griffin Technology Inc. has announced its latest accessory for the iPod nano: the TuneFlex, a dock and charger designed for use in your automobile. It plugs into your auto's 12V outlet to draw the power required to charge your nano. As a safety measure, it even comes with a fuse built into its charging circuitry. So don't worry about destroying your precious nano. Over protection, in my opinion.

The TuneFlex has a flexible steel neck that adjusts to any angle. The nano fits snugly into the rotatable cradle. So, the nano's display always stays readable. The TuneFlex also has a built-in 1/8" stereo line-out audio jack that lets you attach cassette adapters or cables from your nano to your stereo. It also includes a pass-through dock connector that lets you use other digital devices, such as Griffin's iTrip FM transmitter, AirClick remote, SmartDeck cassette adapter etc.

The only drawback with this product is that it's compatible with only the iPod nano. On the other hand, for iPod nano owners, it's a welcome accessory.

The Griffin TuneFlex is priced at $39.99 and is scheduled to begin shipping in February. Pre-orders are being accepted at Griffin Technology
