TruScene TS-1L is a single lens camera unit that is internally mounted on the front windscreen and there are options where you can purchase a rear mounted camera for hitting to the rear screen. With this little clever device, you won't need to argue with someone else if they happen to bump into your bumper when you are not in your car. A drop down LCD screen is included, enabling the unit to be correctly aligned on first fitting. It is powered by the vehicle battery and connected to the vehicle ignition GPS (Global Positioning System) is integrated into the units allowing for the location of the footage to be embedded onto the clip as well as the time.

The movie clips from the camera simultaneously records onto memory loops. The memory loops (each approx. 30 seconds) are continuously recorded over by new images. If the vehicle is involved in an accident that results in a pre-determined g-force, then a g-force motion sensor is activated and the video image is transferred to non-volatile memory for storage.

When the data is saved, it will be encrypted and digitally watermarked. You can connect to a PC for uploading, via the internet to TruScene database. The encrypted data will then be decoded by the program and store until they are required to be viewed by the camera owner or police for further investigation. No words on the availability or pricing yet.
