Trinity Audio Group (T.A.G) has announced its Trinity mobile multi-track recording studio which is one of the Linux based digital audio workstations (DAW) that allows complete mobile field recording and editing. Trinity gives users the ability to record, edit, equalize and mix audio at sample rates of 16 bit 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz (CD Quality) or 24 bit at 96 kHz (Professional Quality). The Trinity features two Neutrik combo input jacks allowing the use of 1/4 †TRS or XLR connectors, two 1/4†TRS output jacks or one 1/4†headphone output with gain control for monitoring, the device also allows for up to 48 volt phantom power. The system is powered by ARM9 520MHz processor, 128MB RAM, 20GB hard drive, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and a 6.5-inch TFT LCD with touch screen capability. Upon a fully charged battery, it could last up to 4 hours of operation. The Trinity will ship this October for USD999.
