C2939WIN_400.jpgThe Transtec group has unveiled new notebooks in its popular LEVIO notebook series, the Transtec LEVIO 210 and the Transtec LEVIO 550. Both have been designed keeping in mind the business and home users and incorporates the latest technologies out there. Not only do they look promising in the performance department but also sport a very elegant and tasteful design.

The LEVIO 210 series is powered by the Intel® Centrino® Duo mobile technology which makes high end usage like multitasking and graphical programs a breeze. The notebook is extremely sleek and lightweight and weighs about 1.95 kg. The 210 features a 12.1" widescreen display and a standard full-size keyboard. It includes an Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG and a PCI Express Bus Architecture. The LEVIO 210 will be available at the beginning of April in ivory or black.

The LEVIO 550 is ideal for the businessman on the go and even those who require high end usage. Users can either opt for the Intel® Pentium® M or Celeron® M processor .It includes an Intel® GMA 900 graphics chipset and can be configured according to ones needs. Users can either choose Windows XP or SuSE Linux Professional as their operating system and take full advantage of the 15.1" XGA TFT display. Some other configuration also includes; Max. 2 GB two-channel DDR2 memory, PCI Express Bus architecture, Intel® display energy-saving technology 2 (Intel® DPST 2) and an expandable Serial ATA hard disk. It would be available by May and prices vary according to configuration.
