Toshiba WirelessIP5000 Handset
Toshiba today reaffirmed its commitment to wireless solutions by launching the Hitachi Cable, Ltd.'s WirelessIP5000(a) Wireless Telephone for Toshiba's Strata(R) CIX(TM) IP business communication system. In layman’s term this wireless handset supports 802.11b and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for unrivaled communication between the Toshiba Strata CIX system which have been adapted by large corporate houses and campuses. This means now thanks to the headset users can communicate with each other on campus free of cost and wouldn’t have to communicate via mobile phones.
The WirelessIP5000 has a pretty decent display with 8 lines of 10 digits that provides valuable information, including signal meter, extension number, battery level etc. It has a Continuous Call Time of up to 190 minutes and a standby time of up to 20 hours. The phone book allows you to store up to 200 contacts and the handset includes accessories like Charging cradle, AC Adapter and Battery.
