Toshiba Satellite R25-S3503 Notebook
Toshiba just unveiled its new Toshiba Satellite R25-S3503, convertible notebook which has been designed keeping in mind the students and small business professionals. The new notebook is protected by a very hardy case, thus users don’t have to worry about damaging the notebooks and incurring extra costs. The R25-S3503 is called a convertible notebook as its lets one rotate and fold the screen down for use as a Tablet PC. You can also write just like they do on a Tablet PC via a digital pen-based. So tasks like writing notes, emails etc are done in a breeze, you can convert handwriting to text or just record there own handwriting.
The new convertible notebook is the first of its kind to offer Intel Core Duo Mobile Technologies, docking capabilities as well as Toshiba's exclusive LifeSmart Technology which enhances the overall features, protects the HD, includes a spill-resistant keyboard, and has fingerprint security. The notebook weighs just less than 6 pounds and features a 14.1-inch diagonal widescreen TruBrite(TM) LCD display and Microsoft Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005 operating system. One will also find a DVD SuperMulti Double Layer drive that reads and writes in up to 11 formats and a 5-in-1 bridge media adapter.
The Toshiba Satellite R25-S3503 includes a high performing 100GB high-capacity 5400 rpm Serial-ATA (SATA) hard drive and includes connectivity options like modem, LAN and the Intel PRO/Wireless(6) 3945ABG Network Connection (802.11 a/b/g.There is a proprietory Diversity Antenna too for a much greater wireless signal reception. The Satellite R25-S3503 also includes four USB 2.0, Ilink(TM) IEEE 1394, RGB output, RJ-11 modem, RJ-45 LAN, headphone and microphone ports. It’s available now and prices begin at $ 1349.
