Toshiba Satellite M70 makes 3G part of the family
Toshiba has introduced the latest member to its Satellite family of laptops called the Satellite M70. With the new M70, Toshiba now offers a laptop that bridges the wireless gap between 3G technologies and Wi-Fi and LAN connections.
The M70 sports a 15.4 widescreen display and uses the latest Intel Pentium M processors ranging from models 730 to 780. You can have up to 2GB of memory and a dual layer DVD drive. The display has a native resolution of 1280 x 800 and uses the ATI Mobility Radeon X700 graphics chipset.
The key feature of the new Satellite M70 is the ability for the laptop to automatically switch between UMTS based 3G networks to other network connections such as Wi-Fi and wired LAN connections.
The Toshiba Satellite M70 is now available in Europe and retails for retails for £900 GBP, or €1,330 EUR.
