The new Toshiba S Series Portable Media Center has been unveiled and from the looks of it, it is one heck of a player. It's not just a digital audio player, the latest offering by Toshiba is promoted as more of a video player. The Toshiba S Series Portable Player is a looker too and there is something very chic about the design.

So what does this new player on the block promise? Well as mentioned before, it may offer WMV playback and you can also view BBC shows and Sky Movies on the 2.4in screen. Other features include a 60 GB HD 2.5 hour battery life for movie playback, a FM tuner and it runs on the Portable Media Center OS. Do we have a potential iPod killer in our hands? Maybe.
