Toshiba is all geared to release two of its high end notebooks, the Qosmio G30/97A which are Windows Vista Capable and carry on the legacy of the Qosmio series. The Qosmio G30/97A have also been equipped with a HD DVD-R drive which makes it the first of its kind in the world! One can also enjoy HD content on the 17 inch WUXGA (the 1,920×1,200 dot).

The notebooks are powered by the Intel Core Duo technology and one also come across a digital TV tuner. Other features include; harman/kardon speakers, latest edition of Microsoft Office Personal 2007, Microsoft Office OneNote(R) 2007 etc. No word on pricing.
