It looks like there’s a new laptop on the front with the Toshiba Protégé M500 White Pearl. According to the source, it also looks like this 12.1 inch notebook PC is targeted for female users. To be honest, I don’t know how a laptop could be targeted at females without sounding too sexist.

Anyway, it does have a bunch of great features. For example, the popular Intel Core Duo processor, an 8x DVD super multi drive, a 5.1 multi card reader, built-in microphone, a finger sensor (I am assuming this reads your fingerprint) as well as a spill-resistant keyboard.

The Toshiba Protégé M500 comes in White or Black. The price I have is in Korean cash as 1,390,000. Let’s hope that doesn’t translate into dollars if it makes it overseas.
