Toshiba P105-S6134 Satellite Notebook
Toshiba is all ready to give us notebook freaks something worthwhile to hang on! The company has just announced a whole bunch of notebooks which would be powered by the latest Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and all of them will be Windows Vista Premium ready. Now when is Microsoft going to be ready with Vista is another story! However lets now put the Satellite P105-S6134 under the spotlight and see what this new notebook is about!
The Toshiba Satellite P105-S6134 is equipped with a 17-inch diagonal widescreen TruBriteâ„¢ display, so those looking for ultras-portability should just turn the other way! The 17-inch LCD is ideal for those whose requirements revolve around graphics related applications. The notebook weighs around 7 pounds and is housed in a 1.41-inch slim notebook casing.
The P105-S6134 draws its juice from an Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor2 T5200 (1.60GHz, 2MB L2, 533MHz FSB) and comes bundled with Genuine Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. There is the all important DVD SuperMulti (+/-R double layer) drive and a whopping 200GB hard drive. Specs like built in Harmon Kardon speakers and 2GB memory, make the notebook extremely appealing!
The new notebook also includes all the standard connectivity options like LAN, Wi-Fi, etc. What I really liked was the presence of both PCMCIA PC Card slot and ExpressCard slot, giving users more versatility and freedom. One also comes across a Toshiba USB TV Tuner and features like 5-in-1 Bridge Media Adapter, 4 USB v. 2.0, RGB TV out (S-Video), headphone and microphone ports, RJ-45 LAN port, RJ-11 modem port, i-LINK etc.
