lcd.jpgThe next couple of months would definitely see companies scrambling to incorporate all sorts of innovative technologies in notebooks and other portable devices. Toshiba and Matsushita would be feeling pretty good as they have just recently launched the world’s thinnest LCD which is only 2.9mm thick and would be incorporated in up coming notebooks. These 12.1" Poly-Si LCD panels would range from 2.9- to 4.5-millimeters in thickness and would feature a swanking LED-backlit TFT display which is capable of providing a brightness of 300cd/m2 and a 1280x800 resolution. Right now the details are sketchy and the few available are in Japanese! But we will keep you updated when we get more information. Keep watching this space.
