    Toshiba Satellite M45-S169Today Toshiba announced the Toshiba Satellite M45-S169 Laptop, it measures 1.14 inches thick and weighs from 6.17 pounds, and features DVD SuperMulti Double Layer drive that reads and writes in up to 11 formats and can nearly double a recordable DVD's storage capacity in either DVD+R or DVD-R double layer formats, a 5400 rpm hard drive accesses stored files fast and Microsoft Windows XP Home is installed on it.

    Priced at $1,049, the Toshiba M45-S169 delivers an affordable multimedia option. It also features an iLINK(TM) IEEE 1394 port, designed to enable fast and easy connections to a digital camcorder and external drives, Toshiba Express Media Player for instant access to CD and DVD playback without booting up the Windows operating system, and SRS TruSurround XT technology for a rich, virtual surround sound experience.
