Toshiba Gigabeat MEG-F10 Digital Audio Player
Today at CEDIA 2005 Toshiba showed of the Toshiba Gigabeat MEG-F10 Digital Audio Player, it has a feature called CD RipRec that can transfer the entire contents of a CD to the audio player in as little as five minutes. It has a large 2.2" QVGA LCD screen and a resolution of 320 x 240. It emphasizes the visual as well as the audio experience, gigabeat lets consumers download their photographs, create slideshows to music, customize their screens and backgrounds and even attach album covers to each album and track when the art is available.
The 10GB Toshiba Gigabeat MEG-F10 Digital Audio Player comes in silver, blue and black acrylic priced at $259. http://www.gigabeat.com.
Flexibility:
In order to offer consumers the greatest flexibility and download options, Toshiba worked with both Microsoft and Napster to provide Windows Media PlaysForSureTM and Napster To GoTM compatibility. In addition to the supplied gigabeat roomTM management software, gigabeat is able to download music via Windows Media Player 10 and windows based subscription services.
