Both TomTom GO devices can now be utilized as a hands-free car kit thanks to its compatibility with Bluetooth(TM) wireless technology, enabling users to easily make or accept phone calls while navigating. Furthermore, the iPod(R) control enables customers to easily operate their iPod seamlessly via the touch screen functionality.

Rob Enderle, Principal Analyst from the Enderle Group affirms such product enhancements and their positive impact on the growth of the industry, adding, "Portable navigation products continue to improve dramatically in ease-of-use, capability, and price-performance. These improvements have resulted in strong growth in 2005 and are expected to drive even stronger growth in 2006. The next generation of successful portable navigation products will be those that can easily be integrated into cars, retaining the ease-of-use benefits, while embracing the broader needs of communication and entertainment."
