ThinkOutside Boomtube H2O1
ThinkOutside announced the availability of the new Stowaway Boomtube H2O1 (name weirdness here), a portable speaker system for, umm, portable devices including cell phones, MP3 players and laptops.
The H2O1 Boomtube uses 2" aluminum speakers, capable of delivering clear sound. A bass tube designed to give subwoofer-like performance is also included, and driven by dual digital amps to guarantee 40 watts of power.
As you can see, it comes in a tubular design and the speakers themselves can be twisted on to it making it a highly portable speaker system. You need Li-ion batteries to start up the amps and get great audio. The aluminum casing is anodized to give greater resistance to scratches.
The Boomtube H2O1 is priced at US $199, and is available from ThinkOutside's store.
